Challenge Success Stories
This challenge has helped me understand that I’m not alone in the way I perceive the challenges of climbing. I’m so inspired hearing from everyone about the barriers you face and how you overcome them. I’ve learned so many new tools to help when I feel stuck, frightened, or discouraged. My confidence is definitely boosted after reading so many inspiring posts about battling fears and working thought doubt. I’m so thankful this community filled with so much support, kindness, and encouragement exist!
This challenged has helped me in more than I can express in words. It is amazing to see so many women striving to build confidence and in my opinion it overflows from climbing into our own lives in general. I have learned to really focus in on my own thoughts and recognize both my strengths and weaknesses, and then to act on those to be a better climber, a better woman, a better human.
This challenge made me feel supported by an amazing group of women. I am so inspired by your motivation and I love the positive energy that the group as a whole is able to generate. I relate to so many of the limiting beliefs shared. To know that I'm not alone in my fear and thoughts makes me feel... liberated. I'm glad that there's a whole lot of you here who are so open to expressing your vulnerability and setting the example of what it means to be a bad ass climber.
This challenge has helped me get a better handle on my headgame, since it provided me with exercises to counteract the tension and fear that builds up, and this in turn has helped me actually focus on my next move and next gear placement. I feel like I am overall a better climber due to this challenge, especially in technique and mental aspects.
More Challenge Love
The biggest thing I am taking away from this challenge is that the mental and emotional aspect is even more important than the physical. These passed weeks I have climbed really well and I know it's not because somehow I got stronger or developed amazing technique overnight. I'm going to keep my bingo card to remind me of all the success I have had do to this challenge.
I found everyone in this group to be incredibly inspiring and seeing your improvements really helped me to push through my own challenges. All the lessons were necessary for me to improve over the past weeks. The visualization lesson was by far the most helpful lesson for me to make changes in the right direction to get myself feeling more confident with my climbs.
I’ve gotten so many accessible tools to use regardless of my experience or whether I’m indoor, outdoor, bouldering, top roping or when I learn to lead. It feels like not only have my skills begun to improve but are on a serious trajectory.
The community alone has been so uplifting and inclusive, full of stellar women who are at once superheroes and incredibly human. Super grateful for the opportunity and the experience.
This challenge has helped me in so many ways! I now have so many new strategies and tools I can use. I love the footwork drills, the stress management techniques, the visualization, pretty much everything! And seeing all the posts from other women has inspired me so much! You all are so rad! I feel super motivated after this challenge!

More Confident Stories
The different exercises we've done during this challenge opened up my mindset about climbing mentality and helps me shake out my nerves and reminds me that I just need to enjoy the experience.
This challenge showed me the most important growth area for all of us is mental and confidence-driven, and NOT physical. Technique is so much more important than strength, and this challenge has helped me internalize that it’s not even about technique versus strength, it’s about attitude and confidence and planning and learning. Here’s to lifelong embodiment of that lesson!
