My Personal Journey

Last year I found a lump just randomly lying in bed scratching myself, just months after getting a clean mammogram.

Two months later I had a lumpectomy where traces of cancer cells were found in my lymph node.

It happens that fast. And it’s scary.

I was diagnosed last May with breast cancer and I’m still working through the emotional and physical aftermath of it all.

It's a lot.

This event is not only about climbing for a good cause, but truly educating both women and men about risks, prevention and how to support others.

Cancer has changed my priorities, values and climbing in ways I'm only now starting to understand.

I'm here to help, support and listen.
